The Edge of Chaos Facilitator Pathway equips coaches, counselors, and educators with the science, tools, and language to help others thrive at the edge where growth happens. Each level builds on the one before, deepening your mastery and expanding your reach.
Level One
Certified Edge of Chaos Facilitator
Practice at the Edge of Chaos
Format: 30 hours (24 contact + 6 self-study)
Delivery: Small-group cruise intensive, virtual cohort, or retreat-based program
Focus: Personal mastery and individual client work.
Learn to apply the Edge of Chaos framework—including the Signal Compass, Stress Wagon, Success Curve, and Visionary–Producer–Editor models—directly with clients and students.
Strengthen your executive-function fluency while gaining practical tools for coaching, counseling, and education.
Credential Awarded: Certified Edge of Chaos Facilitator — Level 1
Accreditation: This 30-hour program is aligned with ICF Core Competencies and pending full ICF Level 1 accreditation (approved for CCE: 24 Core Competency + 6 Resource Development hours).

Join a small group of 10 participants for an immersive at-sea learning experience.
Level Two
Licensed Edge of Chaos Group Facilitator
Lead Groups. Guide Transformation.
Format: 40 hours (combines CCE + practicum)
Focus: Group facilitation, systems-level skill, and integration of the seven Edge of Chaos modules.
Level 2 builds directly on your Level 1 Facilitator Certification and stacks toward a complete ICF-aligned coach credential pathway once Level 1 accreditation is finalized. Graduates earn a formal license from the Edge of Chaos Institute to use the official curriculum, dashboards, and worksheets in their own coaching, counseling, or educational practice. You’ll learn to design and lead group experiences that translate science into lasting change.
Prerequisite: Completion of Level 1
Credential Awarded: Licensed Edge of Chaos Group Facilitator
License Authority: Issued by the Edge of Chaos Institute for use of all protected materials and training systems.
Level Three
Certified Trainer
Teach the Teachers.
Level 3 prepares seasoned practitioners to train and mentor new Level 1 and Level 2 cohorts under the Institute’s supervision. This invitation-only master track includes apprenticeship teaching, advanced signal systems, and certification in assessment and supervision protocols.
Prerequisite: Level 1 & 2 certification + invitation from the Institute
Credential Awarded: Edge of Chaos Certified Trainer of Facilitators
